A wind chill advisory is out until 9AM Thursday morning. The cold overnight lows combined with winds, are putting wind chills in the -20 to -35 range.

A winter storm warning has been issued for a large portion of southern Minnesota starting at noon on Friday until 6PM Saturday. Snow should develop around noon Friday. Blowing and drifting will occur and total accumulations of 6-10 inches are expected. Winds are expecting to be gusting to 30 mph during this event, which will cause low visibilities.
