The Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca will be holding the annual Winter Crops Days next week at a number of locations. This is a very well-attended program because the topics vary from year to year depending on production issues corn and soybean producers are facing. The goal is to present the latest science-based research to address those issues.

Winter Crops Days will be in St. Charles at the Community Center on Wednesday, January 11. At this location there will be some topics on forage production because of all the dairy and cattlemen in southeastern Minnesota. Then on Thursday, January 12, the program will be in Arlington at the Community Center and in Lake Crystal at the Lake Sports Bar and Grill. Finally on Friday, January 13, Winter Crops Days will be in Waseca at the Outreach Center and Kasson in the Events Center.

At all the locations registration is at 8:30AM and the program starts at 9AM. The cost is $35 and includes handout materials, refreshments and lunch. You do not have to preregister. CEUs for certified crop advisers have been applied for.
