Wildcats Too Tough For Falcons

It was a cold night in the Waconia High School gym on Tuesday night. It was cold temperature-wise in the gym and the Falcons' shooting went a little cold as Waconia won 71-51. Waconia led 35-28 at the half, although the Falcons did have it down to a one-point margin a couple of times but were not able to get the lead. They were close for the first few minutes in the second half, but then Waconia ran away with it. Waconia had three players in double figures: Joey Kortuem with 21, Josh Rands with 15 and Connor Schultz with 15. TJ Hunt had 14 for the Falcons and Kade Hart had 11. Hunt was our State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault player of the game. The Falcons are now 1-3 and face Albert Lea on Thursday and Mankato East on Saturday. The Mankato game will be broadcast on KDHL on Saturday night. Gordy Kosfeld will have the call about 7PM.
