Tuesday night the Goodhue Wildcats showed that there was no doubt that they wanted to get back to the state tournament this year as they quickly dispatched the Bethlehem Academy Cardinal girls basketball team 82-36 in the auditorium in Rochester.

Goodhue won the opening tip, scored, kept a full court press on and the Cardinals gave it up and in just over a minute into the game were down 10-0. By the time halftime rolled around Goodhue led 61-17.

The Bethlehem Academy seniors were our State Farm Insurance agents of Faribault, players of the game: Keely Skluzacek, Kallie Donahue, Shelby Meyer and Amber Meritt.

Goodhue, now 23-4, had 11 people score in the game, three in double figures. The Wildcats will now face Lyle on Saturday night at 8PM in Rochester at the Mayo Civic Auditorium. Coverage will be at 7:45PM or so on KDHL.
