The Class A top ranked Goodhue Wildcats ran away from Rushford-Peterson  75-38 in the Section One Championship to advance to the State Tournament for the fourth time in the past six years.  The Wildcats led 38-18 at the half.  Senior Mikayla Miller led the way with 21 points and 8th grader Sydney Lodermeier tallied 12 and junior Shelby Hinsch had 11 in the lopsided win.  Miller added 8 rebounds.  Goodhue is now 25-5 and still has not lost to a Class A team this season.  They lost twice to Section One 2A Champ Kenyon-Wanamingo twice, Hayfield (a 2A school) Kasson-Mantorville playing for the Section One Class 3A Championship and Class 4a's White Bear Lake.  If Goodhue is the number one seed they will play 11am Thursday at Mariucci Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.  Goodhue and Kenyon-Wanamingo could be joined by Kasson-Mantorville at State and all are from the Hiawatha Valley League.
