I recently came across a video of a wedding from the perspective of a liquor bottle!

It looks like they strapped a camera to a bottle of cinnamon whiskey and passed it around. It goes from the groomsmen, to guests at the wedding, then the bridesmaids each take their turn and finally the bride and groom. It's definitely a unique way to remember some of the lighter moments from the day. I might choose a different beverage, but I do have to admit, it provides a unique angle on the wedding, one that you would never see with a traditional video.

I was taking about the video with a coworker and about how it was kind of a fun way to capture parts of the day, but required little up-front effort. No hours of standing around, no silly poses, just people doing something they already would to celebrate the occasion. My coworker mentioned that he also really enjoys the disposable cameras that some people place on the tables of their weddings. I think this is a really fun way to get candid shots of the event, particularly the dance. You'll always have a few that don't turn out, or some pictures that might be jokes, but overall, it seems fun. Another trend I think it really a fun way to get people involved is with photo booths. I've seen them with and without crazy props. People who you think would never will surprise you and put on a wig and fake mustache, leaving you with a fun photo guestbook and great memories.

What do you think? Do you think the video is a fun idea for an event, or do you prefer more traditional methods of capturing your celebrations?
