The Waterville-Elysian-Morristown school district has an important vote next Tuesday and they want everyone to be informed.

Superintendent Joel Whitehurst and school board members Jay Schneider and Tom Little will join me at the high school in Waterville to give specifics about the proposed refurbishment of the Morristown and Waterville buildings. Total proposed cost would be $28.6 million.

On Jan. 7, the WEM School Board approved asking the public to vote May 12 on the $28.6 million building bond proposal. We'll get more details, but under the proposal more classroom additions, major renovations, and safety and security upgrades at the Morristown and Waterville facilities would be included.

Tune in at 9:30 a.m. and be informed when you vote next Tuesday.
