With Monday being the Labor Day holiday, it was a short week, but that doesn't make me any less excited for the weekend. The temperatures are cooling down, but overall the forecast is looking pretty good for this weekend, and there is plenty of fun to be found in the area!

  • Friday grab some dinner at the Burger Baskets fundraiser for the Emeralds at the Knights of Columbus. The event ends at 7:30PM.
  • The Paradise Center for the Arts will be hosting the ever popular Monroe Crossing on Friday evening. For more information, go to Paradisecenterforthearts.org.
  • On Saturday, the Faribault Farmers' Market is holding a Family Day from 9-11AM. There will be demonstrations, kids activities and more!
  • The annual Flea Market at the Rice County Historical Society will be Saturday from 8AM to 2PM rain or shine.
  • Jesse James Days is underway all weekend just a short drive away in Northfield with rodeos, re-enactments and more.
  • On Sunday, Divine Mercy Catholic Church is holding a Dad's Belgian Waffle Breakfast from 8:30AM to 12:30PM.

Have a great weekend!
