It's officially spring! At least that is what the calender says, but this weekend's forecast is more of a mixed bag. I’ve gathered up a few events going on in the area this weekend!

  • The Great Lakes Archaeology Show will be at the Steele County History Center in Owatonna on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Enjoy great music, including the songs of Simon & Garfunkel, The Byrds, The Beatles, Carol King, John Denver, Peter, Paul & Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, and more all performed by the Celebrate Band of First English Lutheran Church in Faribault. Admission is the donation of money or food items to the Faribault Area Food Shelf. For more information, call (507) 210-2775.
  • The Full Belly Soup Kitchen will be serving up meals at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Cathedral Guide House.
  • Start your Sunday morning with breakfast served up by Cub Scout Pack 306. Pancake breakfast starts at 8:15 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Faribault.
  • We might be seeing a touch of snow on Sunday evening, so this could be your last chance to head outdoors and make a snow angel!

Have a great weekend!
