The weekend is here, and as the temperatures continue to drop, this might be the last weekend we have before we start seeing a few flurries in the air. With that in mind, I'm going to make an effort to get outside and enjoy the remaining fall weather this weekend. As always, there are plenty of things going on to keep you busy in the Faribault area!

  • Rep. Brian Daniels will be holding in-district office hours at 9:30AM Saturday at Bernie's Grill in Faribault. This is a great chance to constituents to meet with him.
  • The River Bend Nature Center will be holding Bagels and Birds beginning at 9:30AM. Enjoy breakfast and watch wildlife during this free event.
  • Saturday afternoon, learn the Basics of Making Lefsa at Hope United Methodist Church in Faribault. It starts at 1PM and donations will be accepted.
  • Saturday night, grab your friends and head to the Paradise Center for the Arts for Wine, Women, and Comedy with comedian Mary Rowles.
  • Toys for Tots will hold a benefit breakfast on Sunday from 8AM to 12:30PM at the Faribault American Legion.
