I ran out of reasons to put off washing windows! An annual tradition at our house and many others is to wash windows before it gets cold in the fall. Many years I am so busy trying to get the harvest and tillage finished I do not have time to help Louise with the windows. It was hard to put off chopping or ripping corn stalks to wash windows! Many years we would end up washing windows on a warmer day in December.

This year the weather has been so nice I have all the field work done, plus Chad and I have all the machinery put away. In fact it was so warm I even got was able to get the pressure washer out to clean up the equipment. I do not have a heated shop to clean up equipment and most years It is too cold by the time I am finished with fieldwork. Even though we had some heavy rains just before and during the fall harvest this still is one of the nicest falls I can remember. Even if I do have to wash windows!
