Have you signed up yet for Northfield’s Walk to Remember? It's being held, rain or shine, on Sunday, September 25, at the Northfield Retirement Community campus, at 901 Cannon Valley Drive in Northfield. Wrap up your summer with a fun walk with family and friends that will help to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. They'll start registering participants at 1PM, and the walk gets underway at 2PM. There will be two routes to chose from, a one-mile route and a two-mile route. Afterward there will be a post-walk celebration for all the walkers and their support teams where they'll be able to enjoy a delicious shredded beef sandwich and live entertainment from the very popular '50s and '60s rock 'n' roll band The WhiteSidewalls. These guys have been rocking the area for years with their dead on covers of those classic oldies and you may have seen them this summer at the Rice County Fair.

Teams or individuals are encouraged to register early and make a donation. These donations will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information or to register, visit northfieldwalktoremember.com. or call Emily Kerling at (507) 664-7353.
