He didn't have a microphone near him, but you could pretty clearly figure out what the Patriots coach told the Viking's star receiver Sunday-- and it wasn't very nice.

Emotions were running high in Foxboro Sunday as the Vikings took on the New England Patriots. The Patriots, of course, wound up winning the game, pulling away from Minnesota in the second half.

Which might explain why the Viking's star receiver, Adam Theilen was so, uh, excited at what he perceived as yet another way the Patriots might be cheating their way to a victory. It was right after a Patriots play went down with an injury, one that appeared to be giving coach Bill Belichick more time to decide if he wanted to challenge the play.

Theilen, as this USA Today story says, "Shouted his disapproval at the Patriots sideline." (Yeah, that's one way to put it.) We don't know exactly what he said, but we know that Bill Belichick said back to Theilen-- and you don't need to be a lip-reader to figure it out.

You can see the entire exchange, which was quickly broken up by the officiating crew, HERE. And according to this NBC Sports.com story, after the game both Belichick and Theilen say it was just their emotions getting away from them during the heat of the battle. Still, though, their exchange was one of the top trending NFL items yesterday (outside of the Packers firing head coach Mike McCarthy, that is...)
