Update: It was a good girls basketball match in Montgomery tonight as the 1-2 Tri City United Titans faced the 2-1 Bethlehem Academy Cardinals. The Lady Cards lost on Monday night to St. Clair by a score of 51-48 and Tri City United lost on Tuesday night to Glencoe-Silver Lake 53-45.

The Cardinals lead a good portion of the first half but turnovers and some cold shooting made the score 33-23 Tri City at the half.

In the second half, the Titans controlled it but the Cardinals got it back to within one with a basket from Amber Merritt. The Cardinals got in to some foul trouble. Keely Skluzacek and Hannah Robb fouled out. With about 2 minutes left, the Cardinals were down by just three and could not get ahead and Tri City made some free throws and they won it 57-50. The Cardinals face Wabasha-Kellogg on Friday night and Tri City faces Trinity School at River Edge. Cardinals are now 2-2 and so is Tri City United.
