The University of Minnesota Dairy Team will be sponsoring a Farmer to Farmer program on Thursday July 6, at the Mike and Donna Tellers farm, 8865 Tellers Road, Chaska, Minnesota. The program will begin at 10:45AM and wrap up at 2:30PM. The program will break for lunch and drive to the Augusta Ball Field, 5950 Hampshire Rd., Chaska. For more information or to register, contact Colleen Carlson at (952) 942-5385.

Some of the topics include: Interpreting DHIA Records to Make Better Management Decisions, More Milk with Long Day Lighting and Tunnel Ventilation Management, Timeline to Top Production Practices that Positively Affect the Bottom Line, Integrating Cover Crops and Manure Research, and How Consumer Driver Prefer Drive the Industry. It sure looks like a very informative program with some very timely topics. Most of the fieldwork and spraying should be finished so hopefully many dairy farmers will have time to attend.
