It was a busy day today at the National Association of Farm Broadcasters convention in Kansas City. As I have mentioned in the past, Trade Talks is my favorite part of the convention. As you can see in the picture above, agribusiness and farm groups put a lot of time into their booths. They many times have "stuff" that they give to farm broadcasters if they stop by. Like many different events I go to it is like a family reunion. There are people I see only once a year like at this convention. There are also mandatory business meetings I must attend. Not exactly exciting but it is one of those things you must do.

Kansas City is a great place to visit. When you say Kansas City I do not think of the World Series Champion Royals, or the Chiefs. I think of agriculture. There are still a lot of large agribusiness located in Kansas City. In addition it is within easy driving distance. It is only a six-hour drive on Interstate 35.
