Totino Grace Football Shocks Eden Prairie

The Totino Grace Eagles upset top-ranked Class AAAAAA Eden Prairie at Osseo High School on Friday night 27-13.

The win came just a night after the top seed in another Class AAAAAA pod, Lakeville North, was upended by Osseo 24-21 at Eden Prairie High School.

The two other pods followed, with top-seeded East Ridge of Woodbury defeating Wayzata 31-28 and top seed Maple Grove downing Burnsville 32-14.

The Class AAAAAA football semifinals will feature Osseo and Totino Grace on Thursday at Minnetonka High School and East Ridge against Maple Grove at Eden Prairie High School on Friday. Both starts are 7PM.

Class A at RCTC Stadium in Rochester

Goodhue 14, Bethlehem Academy 0

Goodhue has shut out their last two opponents and plays at Prior Lake High School next Saturday at 3PM against either Minneota or Browerville. Those two teams play Saturday afternoon at 1PM in Alexandria.

The other bracket games are also Saturday. At 11AM, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton faces Minneapolis North at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.

Mahnomen squares off with Braham at 4PM at Bemidji State University.

In Class AA

Caledonia continues to dominate with a capital D. They cruised to a 48-0 win over Blue Earth Area. The Warriors will play Saturday at 1PM against Ottertail Central, who were 22-0 victors over Minnewaska Area.

On the other side of the bracket, Pipestone Area crushed Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 63-13 and waits to see who wins between Moose Lake/Willow River and United North Central. They play at Brainerd High School at noon Saturday.

In Class AAA all games are Saturday.

At 2PM, Jackson County Central sees St. Croix Lutheran at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.

At 3PM Proctor plays Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at Brainerd High School

Also at 3PM, Tri-City United faces Belle Plaine at Lakeville North High School and at 5PM Pierz and Albany hook up at St. Cloud State University.

In Class AAAA

South St. Paul beat Fridley 37-14 at Macalester College in St. Paul on Friday night while Rocori bested Hermantown 33-20 at Bemidji State University.

On the other side of the bracket, Stewartville defeated Marshall 35-7 at Farmington High School and Benilde-St. Margaret faces Becker at Osseo High School Saturday at 3PM.

Just one game in Class AAAAA.

St. Thomas Academy edged Woodbury on Friday night 7-0.

On Saturday, Andover plays Moorhead at St. Cloud State University at 8PM and the winner plays the Cadets at Minnetonka High School on Friday at 7PM.

Saturday at 6PM, Rochester John Marshall tangles with Mankato West at Lakeville North High School and Spring Lake Park plays St. Michael-Albertville at Osseo High School.

In nine-man football Friday night, Underwood downed Madelia at Big Cat Stadium in Morris 42-20 and Ely edged Stephen-Argyle 19-14 at Bemidji State University.

Saturday at 1PM, defending champion and top-ranked Grand Meadow is at New Prague High School for a game against Cleveland/Immanuel Lutheran.

Same time, Silver Bay plays unbeaten Waubun at Bemidji State University.
