Some of you know and many of you don't know that I participate in Historical Re-enactment camps during the summer . . . otherwise called Rendezvous. The Period is the mid to late 1800's.  We sleep in canvas tents, cook over an open fire, light our way with candles and have a lot of fun.

Our first one this year is called the Cannon River Rendezvous put on by the Twin Cities Muzzle Loaders club near Cannon Falls on Memorial Day Weekend. If you type Cannon River Rendezvous in to your search engine all of the details come up and you can find out when the public visiting hours are. I spent my weekend this past weekend working on some of our equipment we take and soon I'll have some pictures.  I love turning off the technology for the weekend going back to a less hectic time. I hope you get a chance to go to a rendezvous event. They happen in Minnesota pretty much every weekend now thru November.
