I left the grandstand infield last evening about 10PM after the NTPA Truck and Tractor Pull. This morning I was heading to the studio about 8AM and realized I had left my sunglasses by the cement barricades at the grandstand. I was going to drive right by the fairgrounds so I thought I would see if I could get to the infield. I was a little surprised that they were still there and not even broken. There sure was a lot of activity at the fairgrounds.

Jim Purfeerst was in this big loader setting up the infield for the Demo Derby this evening. Another board member was in the skid steer putting the final touches on the dirt wall. In the grandstand a number of guys were cleaning up from last night's Truck and Tractor Pull. I think many of us don't realize how much work and organizing goes into putting on a county fair. Thank you to all the volunteers for putting on a great 2015 Rice County Fair! By the way the Demo Derby starts this evening at 6:30.
