I love finding pieces of KDHL and Power 96 history and sharing them with our listeners! KDHL is well known as a source for news and information you need, and historically this holds true as well.

Recently, this picture popped up on the "You Know You Grew Up In Faribault When..." page on Facebook. KDHL has a long and interesting history, starting in 1948 when it first hit the airwaves. The Mighty 920 has always been your information station, and shown in this picture is a card that was passed out to listeners, officials and members of the community so that they could submit story ideas. The card features a picture of KDHL's Dean Curtiss and invites people to call in newsworthy items to KDHL. It states that "Your news is our news," which is something that KDHL has always adhered to, informing the region of the latest news.

We’re always interested in learning more about this picture, and the history of both stations. If you have pictures or memorabilia of KDHL or Power 96, we would love to see them and feature them for Throwback Thursdays! You can send photos and information to kelly.krage@townsquaremedia.com.
