Every Monday I share something I am currently listening to and I love getting to spend some dedicated time each week deciding what song or artist to feature. Sometimes it's an older song, other times it might be an artist you've never heard of before. With 42 potential songs to choose from, it was hard to narrow down the list to just 10 songs. I tried to make sure there was a good variety in this list -- party jams, ballads, new releases from established artists and up-and-coming performers. What was your favorite Music Monday of the year?

  • 1

    Chris Stapleton

I showcased the title track of his album Traveller back in May, and in November he had a breakout moment at the CMA awards winning Male Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.

  • 2

    Logan Mize

Logan Mize was featured on KDHLradio.com in June, but nearly a year before that he was rocking the stage at WE Fest with fun, upbeat music.

  • 3

    Mo Pitney

Mo Pitney is a young artist who might have better fit in with artists of the '90s. Storytelling is a key component to his musical style.

  • 4

    Aubrie Sellers

If Aubrie Sellers' sound reminds you of Lee Ann Womack, that's because the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Not resting on family connections, this young singer had a hand in penning every song on her album.

  • 5

    The Cadillac Three

Featured back in August, the Cadillac Three have a southern rock sound and some big-time songwriting credits to their name.

  • 6

    Sunny Sweeney

Showcased back in April, Sunny Sweeney has gotten a little bit of attention over the past couple of years, but has a lot of growth potential.

  • 7

    Chase Bryant

Featured in February, Chase Bryant is up and coming in the country music scene. "Take it on Back" did well on radio, and with a family history of performing, he's ready for anything.

  • 8

    Tracy Lawrence

Tracy Lawrence is a name any country fan is likely familiar with, but when I highlighted him back in May, it was a song you might not have heard before. The new music sounds great, and he stays true to his musical roots.

  • 9

    Clare Dunn

Clare Dunn is a Belmont grad who is ready to make her mark in the world of county music and cranks out rocking tunes like "Move On."

  • 10

    Bobby Wills

A Canadian country music star, Bobby Wills has a sound that would blend right into a set of music by many of today's leading artists.
