Taste of Faribault is Next Week and Some Details on AM Minnesota 9-7-2016

Faribault Area Chamber representatives are scheduled to join us for AM Minnesota at 9:30 this morning.

The 24th annual Taste of Faribault is next Thursday, September 15, at the Faribault American Legion from 5-8PM.

Tickets are on sale now for $15 in advance. They are $20 at the door and there is a group discount - if you buy five you get one free.

There is something new this year and we'll have to learn about that on today's program. How is that for a tease?

Thursday, September 22, the Main Street program is bringing some training to Faribault. Participants will learn strategies for engaging their community in ways that "make ideas tangible and build relationships," according to information included on the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce website.

Do not forget the Main Street Fall Festival. Circle October 8 on your calendar or put it in your phone calendars.

There will be a chili contest, kids games and a parade of folks in costume. There will also be trick or treating and lots of family as well as adult fun.

A special event is also taking place on Friday, October 7, when South Central College, Faribault Public Schools and the Minnesota Workforce Center join the Faribault Area Chamber for an event designed to bring greater awareness of the variety of careers available in manufacturing in Faribault.
