Taking Charge of YOUR Finances: How to Survive and Thrive  is the title of a financial management workshop that will be taught by University of Minnesota Extension faculty. The short course uses an interactive approach that teaches how to organize and use financial records, develop and analyze financial statements, and make better informed decisions regarding finances. Participants will learn the parts of a balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and the importance of records.

The one day classes will begin at 9:00 AM and wrap up at 3:30 PM. Lunch will be provided and the workshop is free. The program will be offered November 28th in Mankato at the Greater Mankato Growth, December 5th in Owatonna at Kibble Equipment, December 13th in Austin at Riverland Community College, and finally back in Mankato January 3rd at Greater Mankato Growth.
