The "20" Rifle & Pistol Club and Straight River Archery Club is hosting the annual Rendezvous at the site near Owatonna this weekend. The group that puts it on are volunteers who educate families and the community on the pre-1840 fur trade era. It is open to the public Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9-4 and open Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 9-noon. There will be kids activities throughout the day. Come observe tomahawk throw, archery, shooting events, various period dress and life as it was prior to 1840. Admission is free.

If you have never been to a Rendezvous, it's a good learning experience, getting to know history in a fun outdoor way.

Directions: take I35 to Clinton Falls exit by Cabelas. Head east, at stop sign go left. Once over bridge, take a right. Road will turn to gravel and after tracks it will be on your right. There will be signs.
