The Rice County Fair has been going on since Tuesday, and there is no shortage of fun, including carnival rides such as the Tilt-a-Whirl. Check out this fun video from inside the famous ride!

With the Tilt-a-Whirl ride in town as part of the Rice County Fair, this seemed like the perfect chance to take a spin!

The Tilt-a-Whirl was made in Faribault and grew to be a popular carnival ride throughout the country. Last year, members of the community banded together and raised money to have a Tilt-a-Whirl car restored on the History Channel Television show American Restoration, with the work being done by the people who own Rick's Restorations. When the work was done, and the episode aired, a party was held and they did the official unveiling of the car. This year as the Tilt-a-Whirl car found it's permanent home on Central Avenue in downtown Faribault, large crowds came out to celebrate and have their picture taken inside the iconic ride. To add to the excitement, Rick and Kelly Dale of Rick's Restorations, who handled the process of bringing the Tilt-a-Whirl car back to its former glory, were on hand to help with the celebration.
