The annual Straight River Days celebration will be held in Medford on Thursday, June 18, through Sunday, June 21.

Weekdays, from noon to 1PM, when you listen to Power 96, your ears will be treated to double shots of your classic rock favorites. It’s Whole Lotta Lunch and it's a midday pick-you-up of one rockin’ tune followed by another by the same artist or band. And now, when you listen to Whole Lotta Lunch on Fridays, you have a chance to win a great prize!

Summer is coming, the weather is warming up, and I've started seeing people slowly pull their pride and joy vehicles out of the garage and onto the roads. Around here, that means the Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Nights are just around the corner!

On May 2, 2015, Power 96's Bryan Cantu put on a gorilla costume and started running as part of the 2015 Gorilla Run in Mankato, Minn. The event is a lot of fun, and benefits the North Mankato Miracle League and the Fallenstein Field.
