Faribault Public Schools Superintendent Todd Sesker shares his opinion on the various school punishments handed out in the dance competition controversy on today's AM Minnesota. All five of the other schools involved in the competition staged a protest at the state meet in February at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

All districts have since announced what their response has been to the event. Most called for reprimands of the coaches involved and a few of the schools did impose a two-meet suspension of their head coaches next season.

The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) tabled the matter during their last board meeting, noting they wanted to see what the districts did before determining any disciplinary measures they might take. Their next meeting is in early June.
