Super Bowl championship rings have changed dramatically over 50 years of title games. Witness the evolution in person when "The Championship Tour Presented by Jostens" stops in Owatonna September 19-24. The Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce announced in their weekly newsletter email that the display will be held at the Steele County History Center free of charge.

Jostens has designed the rings for over 50 years and they have grown in complexity and value, just as the game has. Owatonna is one of just nine cities where the display will be shown. Hours at the History Center that week are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10AM-4PM, Thursday 10AM-3PM and Sunday 11AM-3PM.

The press release from the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee indicates the ring display will feature 33 championship rings. The tour will be set up at Monday's season opener at U.S. Bank Stadium September 11 before being transported to Bemidji and then to Owatonna. Other locations for the ring display include Mayo Clinic in Rochester October 2-6 and Mall of America October 17-29.

Super Bowl LII is February 4, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
