Sunday was Close to Purrfect
Even though the weather was not great on Sunday it was a relaxing day. Saturday I had spent most of the day outside working on the yard and getting some things ready for a camping trip over Memorial Day weekend. (More about that soon).
Anyway Sunday, my kids were gone to spend time with their mom and I was left at home alone except for my two cats. After reading the paper and having breakfast and I did a few other things, I decided it was a good day to just relax on the couch a bit and enjoy a marathon of a few episodes of my favorite show, Criminal Minds.
My oldest cat, Samantha, or as we call her Sammy, is a gray and white longer-haired cat. She has a bit of an attitude and mostly likes being alone, so she was cuddled up in my son's room. Tiger, the 4-year-old short hair (in the picture) decided it was time to come up and spend some quality time with me. He made me relax about some things I was stressing over and it just made it a nice day.
By the way, if you want to know what your cat is "telling" you, check out an article in Star Tribune under the science section.
