Sundance Head invited two of his favorite contestants from The Voice Season 11 to the finale on Tuesday night (Dec. 13), to perform Cole Swindell's "Ain't Worth the Whiskey."

Head teamed with Austin Allsup and Courtney Harrell to perform the hit song, which talks about a girl who has left a man broken-hearted. He is drowning his sorrows and raises a glass to a number of things but not to her, because "You ain't worth the whiskey."

The blues-country belter and his friends lit up the stage of The Voice with the performance, which marked Head's final turn onstage for Season 11. It's a season that has seen him as one of the dominant forces in the competition, turning in one top-flight performance after another for Blake Shelton's team, including stirring covers of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” and Keith Urban‘s “Blue Ain’t Your Color.

He sang his way into the finals with a cover of the Judds classic “Love Can Build a Bridge," and anchored his position on Monday night (Dec. 12) by performing an original song titled “Darlin’, Don’t Go,” as well as delivering a stunning cover of the Etta James classic, “At Last.” He also performed with Kiss on Tuesday night during the finale.

Head previously competed during the sixth season of American Idol in 2007, ultimately placing in the Top 15, and while he went on to record for Universal Motown, he admits he didn’t make the most of the opportunity while it was in front of him.

It turns out success is even sweeter the second time around. The Voice voters gave Head the win in Season 11 on Tuesday night during the live finale. He triumphed over Billy Gilman, Josh Gallagher and We McDonald for the crown.
