Update: The Minnesota Twins game has been postponed due to the weather. They will, weather permitting, play what was going to be the series finale at noon Thursday and then the rest of Wednesday night's game at 5:30PM Thursday evening. The Twin Cities is still getting socked with heavy rains. Also some heavy thunderstorms are moving through the heart of the area. Flash flood warnings are out for Scott and Dakota counties until 11:45PM Wednesday. The rain may continue off and on all night.

Xcel Energy already is reporting more than 6,500 customers without power. There are some outages along Highway 60 in the Morristown area and just west of Waterville.
