Spirit Fest is This Weekend in Faribault, Details on AM Minnesota 9-17-2015

The Divine Mercy Catholic Church Spirit Fest Family Festival is this Sunday on the church grounds in Faribault.

I go to the church today to visit with organizers about everything happening during the church festival this weekend.

I can tell you new this year will be the D&S Pedal Tractor Pull, with registration at 1PM. The hours of Spirit Fest are 10AM to 4:30PM Sunday.

Divine Mercy is at 139 Mercy Drive on Faribault's south side near the KDHL Radio towers.

A Polka Mass at 10AM features the Jim Busta Band with "Mollie B." They will also perform on the entertainment stage from noon until 2PM.

There will be a silent auction, farmers market and gift shop. Bingo, Spanish Bingo, a cake walk and priest competition at 3PM.

There will be games for the kids and an inflatable slide, and a football throw and free throw competition.

An open pit chicken and ham dinner will be served from 11:30AM to 1:30PM.
