Spirit Fest is This Sunday in Faribault

Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault hopes the weather is splendid this Sunday for their annual Spirit Fest event on the church grounds across from the KDHL Radio towers on the southern edge of Faribault.

The usual family fun will be experienced during the church festival.

Mass times will be 8:00 a.m., Polka Mass is 10:00 a.m., Mariachi Mass is Noon and the traditional 5:00 p.m. Mass.

Spirit Fest is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault.

Once again this year there will be a soccer tournament with games beginning Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and the Championship will be Sunday.

There are inflatables for the kids, kids games, a balloon artist, cake walk and tractor pedal pull.

There are food stands and a beer garden and an open pit dinner will be served.

Entertainment includes the Jim Busta Band with "Mollie B" from Noon to 4:00 p.m. and Mariachi Estrella de MN will perform from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
