South Central College President On AM Minnesota 7-17-2015

Dr. Annette Parker will discuss happenings at the Faribault and North Mankato college including some recent awards received by the school.

Fall semester classes begin August 24 and orientation for new students will be conducted Tuesday 9-Noon with check-in 8:30-8:55 a.m.  You must reserve a spot online through the SCC website.

Summer camps for high school students were recently completed on the North Mankato campus.  These camps were in robotics, mechatronics and architectural design.  In addition a girls STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math ) camp was held.

I will ask Dr. Parker about the high school automotive program cooperative effort in Faribault.  South Central also has post secondary enrollment options for eligible high school students in tenth grade and up.  Students can take college courses tuition free and earn credits toward a degree.
