Some Rumbles Of Thunder Possible in Southern Minnesota

Some heavy thunderstorms are approaching from the west. These are remnants of some storms that moved through the state earlier tonight. The most troublesome storms caused damage and some tornadoes in the Brainerd Lakes area.

Severe weather is not expected at this time, but you may get frequent lightning, some strong winds and heavy rains.

Temperatures were hot and humid today and a cold front dropped through to trigger the severe weather across the northern part of the state.
