Mike Chinander of the Fabulous Love Handles will be on AM Minnesota to talk about their success and how much fun they'll have this Saturday at the Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault. The musical group plays everybody's favorites from the 60's, 70's, 80's and today and perform during the January Thaw event at the Paradise 7 Saturday night
If you wanted something "high tech" it was at Pork Congress. Feed delivery, watering systems, heating and ventilation all controlled by computers. If something goes wrong, the manager or owner gets an email, text message or phone call! Even cleaning and disinfecting gestation and farrowing stalls can be high tech
The exhibitors at Pork Congress are there to talk to pork producers and sell their products or services. A nice, comfortable chair is one way to get people into your booth. Food and free stuff are other ways that work!
Faribault Area Senior Center Executive Director Mona Kaiser will be joined this morning by the Senior Clothes Closet Manager Kathy Dodds and we'll talk about the new store name and changes coming to the downtown Faribault store
Tonight on KDHL and kdhlradio.com it's the Cardinals from Bethlehem Academy vs. the Tigers from Stewartville in a road game for the Cardinals. The Cardinals are 7-9 and the Tigers are 10-7. The Cardinals are coming off of a 64-46 loss to Maple River on Tuesday
Pork Congress 2015 wrapped up at 1 p.m. today. It sure didn't take exhibitors very long to start tearing down their displays. This shot was taken at 1:10 p.m. Everything looked so nice, and in about a half-hour it is all gone
There is some big equipment at the Minnesota Pork Congress, too. This is a liquid manure tank on display in the trade show. It must be a lot of fun for the semi driver to haul this through downtown Minneapolis
You've no doubt had one of those days when nothing goes right. Carleton had one of those nights Wednesday in a 68-38 loss at Concordia in Moorhead, Minn. Carleton couldn't seem to do anything right and Concordia could do no wrong
If you were to tell Carleton head coach Guy Kalland his team would hold Concordia under 60 points, shoot 49 percent from the field and out-rebound the Cobbers, he would probably say they would win. Carleton did all of that against a very physical Cobber team, but they couldn't shuck the Cobbers' tenacious defense in a very physical game in Moorhead, Minn
