Playing an instrument can be a wonderful experience. In addition to learning how to read music and play the actual instrument, you also lean focus and dedication, how to work within a larger group, and you meet new people and create lasting memories.
It was a great day at the 24th annual Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Business Expo at the Faribault Ice Arena! Mike Eiler, Jerry Groskruetz, Bryan Cantu, Kris, Tamara and Duane, in addition to myself, were all there representing KDHL and Power 96.
The sun is shining today, but two years ago it was a different story. People throughout the area woke up to see a beautiful, but rather unwelcome snowfall blanket the trees, grass and roads. We tend to think that by the end of April spring and warm weather should be the norm, but Minnesota weather doesn't always agree.
Last Friday, April 17, members of the KDHL and Power 96 crew were able to take part in a really fun event that also benefits a good organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota. The goal was to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
