According to the charges, on Tuesday 18-year-old Angel Pablo Torres Jr. was charged with luring a female student into a locker room and then raping her. The students both attend Shakopee High School.

The victim said that she and Torres used to be friends, and he asked her to leave class and go to the drinking fountain with him. She agreed and then he grabbed her by the wrist, and took her into a handicapped stall in the locker room, where despite her pleas of no, he raped her.

Her medical examination after the event shows injuries consistent with a rape. Torres was arrested and has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and up to $40,000 in fines.

He is still being held on $200,000 bail.
