Throughout the nation, libraries are celebrating Library Card Sign Up Month! If you don't already have a library card, this is the perfect chance to obtain one, and if you have a card that hasn't been used for a while, consider this an invitation to refresh yourself on all of the benefits of your library card!

Libraries serve local communities by providing fiction and nonfiction books, reference materials, audio books, newspapers, magazines, CDs, movies, multimedia materials and more at no cost. Additionally, they provide an internet connection, and many offer one-on-one instruction, classes, story hours, summer reading clubs and other community programs. A wealth of information is just a library card away! See ilovelibraries.org for more information.

If you live in Rice County, and would like a library card, stop in to Buckham Memorial Library and one will be given to you free of charge.
