Some individuals involved with the restoration of a second Tilt-A-Whirl car to be placed in downtown Faribault will be on our AM Minnesota program at 9:30 this morning.

I believe Tami Schluter and Peggy Keilen will be with us, and the restorers, Karen Bussert and Dwight Henning, will join us. Henning and Bussert are former Sellner Manufacturing (makers of the Tilt-A-Whirl) employees.

The first Tilt-A-Whirl car was dedicated a couple of years ago on the Burkhartzmeyer Shoes corner, and this one will be placed at the State Bank of Faribault corner.

There are scores of people who take selfies and other photos in the first car and the same will probably be true of the second. I can't tell you how many times I've seed wedding parties taking photos in the first restored car.

I believe there is a plan for more cars to be placed, but we will find out this morning on the program.

If you can't listen at 9:30AM, then go to the KDHL YouTube channel and watch the show.
