Second Harvest Heartland on AM Minnesota

Tony Mans, director of food sourcing for Second Harvest Heartland, will be my guest on AM Minnesota on Friday. Mans works with farmers and others to get surplus food to the hungry. Many times perfectly good food is wasted. I remember one story Mans told me about a call he received from a farmer with 40 acres of sweet corn. It was by passed by the canning company so the farmer donated it to Second Harvest Heartland.
