Seasons come and go

I shared with you recently about the signs that spring will soon be here. This time we are talking about the change in the high school sports seasons.  We are into playoff time and most of us that do play by play, love calling play off games. They are usually close, exciting and like recently when Goodhue ended the season for the Bethlehem Academy Girls, sometimes you feel for the losers.  This is a team that was in a bit of a re-building mode this year. New Coach, just three seniors on the squad and a lot of heart. Jenna Brown, Nicole Vanhorn and Ramontica Langfeldt, the hard working seniors, to lead and show the rest.  A team tthat only had a couple of wins all year, but left it all on the court after every game.  Soon many of these talented girls will no doubt move on to play a spring sport(if spring ever gets here this year) and they will put this behind them. But way to go Cardinals. You could have just given up. But you toughed it out. And we are all proud of you.
