The Rice County Historical Society Museum is hosting a number of old time demonstrations during the fair this week.  Kids were thoroughly enjoying themselves in the Scavenger Hunt Wednesday where they look for items at all the historical buildings on the fairgrounds.  There are some interesting kids games played in the late 1800's and early 1900's and kids also helped with

a lot of the household chores.  The picture here gives a whole new meaning to doing the laundry.  Doesn't seem so bad these days does it?  Before there were mass produced dolls kids would make their own out of corn cobs and that was demonstrated at the log cabin Wednesday.  The Rice County Historical Society Museum on the east end of the fairgrounds is also a delightful journey into Rice County's past and includes a new Fleck's Brewery display.
