Rice County Historical Society Executive Director Susan Garwood stops by the KDHL studio to discuss an event they are hosting this Saturday.

There will be the first viewing of a 1935-38 one-of-a-kind film about Faribault things.

That's all I know. I'm looking forward to learning more about it along with you.

I've always been a lover of history. Even when I was a kid I loved history, and now that I've been working a bit on my family history it intrigues me more.

I hope you can listen in at 9:30AM. We might touch on a couple of other topics. Did Faribault ever have a St. Patrick's Day parade?

Did you know, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are more Americans of Irish descent then there are people living in Ireland right now?

Remember, if you can't tune in at 9:30AM, the program is on our website under the YouTube tab and you can watch at your leisure.

Thanksgiving
