Rice County Fair 2014 Kickoff

The Rice County Fair is officially underway! That means the food vendors are set up, the 4H barns are full, and a new Rice County Fair Queen recieved her crown yesterday evening!

The coronation had a great turn out and in keeping with tradition, Gordy Kosfeld took on the role of interviewing each contestant and introducing them to the crowd. In addition to the crowning, there is a full schedule of events to take in at the Rice County Fair. There is a salsa contest, kids can partake in the Pedal Tractor Pull, you can watch the free shows, or watch Enduro Racing in the grandstand. And of course, no trip to the fair would be complete without stopping by the KDHL and Power 96 booth! You can find us by the Midway stage. We look forward to seeing you at the Rice County Fair!
