Rice County Fair Talk On AM Minnesota Today

Every Tuesday until the Rice County Fair John Dvorak will be on AM Minnesota with Fair Talk. I do enjoy talking about the Rice County Fair with John and the guests he brings along. We are only 4 weeks away from opening day. Remember the deadline for signing up to compete for the title of Rice County Fair queen is June 30, 2016. The Rice County Fair Queen Coronation is always on Tuesday evening to begin the Rice County Fair.

Something new at the Rice County Fair this year is a project the Rice County 4-H is involved in. They want you to bring your gently worn shoes to the Rice County Fair. The Rice County 4-H will be collecting slightly worn shoes as a fund raiser. The shoes will be delivered to the World Wear Project which delivers the shoes to needy people in developing countries. So, bring your slightly worn shoes to the Rice County Fair. Raise money for the Rice County 4-H, keep them out of landfills and help the needy in the world.
