Rice County Fair Board Ready to Help

Wednesday afternoon there was a heavy thunderstorm that moved through the Rice County Fair grounds. We were dry in the KDHL booth until the wind really picked up. We all scattered into buildings to wait until the storm passed. When we came back everything including the chairs in our booth was wet. I was scheduled to have surgeons from Summit Orthopedics on the air at 5:00.

We got everything dried out (except some of the chairs) and went on the air with our guests. As you can see from the picture I sat on one of the wet chairs. Because of the rain the BMX Bike show was moved from the grandstand to the big parking lot by our booth. Fair Board members were using a propane blow torch to dry the parking lot for the show. Board members, always willing to help offered to dry off my pants?
