It was a privilege to be at the 91st National FFA Convention recently in Indianapolis Indiana. The 91st National FFA Convention concluded on Saturday October 27 with the announcement that another attendance record of 69,944 was set for this year's convention. The National FFA Convention is one of the largest conventions of any type held in the United States! Events were held all over downtown Indianapolis, the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the Indianapolis Convention Center.

The theme of this years convention was Just One. There were a number of judging teams from our listening area that earned the right to judge at the National Convention by winning the contest at their State Convention. Back when I was in the FFA in the 1970's it was mainly boys from a farm wanting to be in production agriculture or farmers. Today a small percentage of members will be involved in production agriculture. Instead the large majority of members will be pursing jobs and careers in agriculture.
