Let's Play Baseball's latest Minnesota high school baseball rankings were released Wednesday and the Randolph Rockets and Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights dropped after losses this week.

The Rockets were the top-ranked team in the state and were unbeaten heading into this final week of the season. Randolph suffered their first loss of the season Tuesday night in an extra-inning game against Lyle/Austin Pacelli.

Rocket head coach Chris Stanton says it was a great game and they out-hit the Shamrocks 12 to 6 but lost in 10 innings 3-2. All of the Lyle/Pacelli runs were unearned.

Let's Play Baseball also had Randolph losing to Faribault Bethlehem Academy this week, and I know that didn't happen because I saw the Rockets shut-out the Cardinals.

Both the coach and I saw the wrong score reported to some websites and we both though we corrected the sites but evidently it didn't happen.

Stanton told KDHL he wants to be No. 1 when the season ends at Target Field in June.

Kenyon-Wanamingo suffered their first conference loss of the season last Saturday when they split a doubleheader with Hayfield.
