It is going to be a very quiet day today at KDHL with the front office closed in observance of New Years day. In addition the grain and livestock markets are closed too. Part of the excitement of working at KDHL is being on the air talking markets with Gordy and Kevin. It is going to be nice Tuesday morning to have everything back to normal, whatever is normal is!

Like usual, it is going to be a busy January. On Friday this week I fly down to Phoenix for the American Farm Bureau National Convention. As soon as I get back the Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca will put putting on their Winter Crops Days. The next week it is one of my favorite events of the year, Pork Congress at the Minneapolis Convention Center. I really enjoy hanging around Minnesota Pork Producers! Then the end of January it is the MN Ag Expo, the annual meeting of the Minnesota Corn Growers and Soybean Growers. Time sure goes fast when you are busy!
